What are the main physical features of the Lesser Bushbaby?

Lesser bushbabies are covered in a thick, soft, long furry coat. The upper parts are grey to grey brown and the underparts much paler.

The tail, which is bushy and darker than the general body colour, is about twice the body length (about 37 cm) in both sexes. Dark rings around the eyes and a white nose stripe are very characteristic. The hands and feet are similar to those of the Thick Tailed Bushbaby. Lesser bushbabies are excellent jumpers and can attain distances of 5 to 7 m in a single leap.

Body mass for the male ranges between 150 and 230 g and for the female between 150 and 180 g. The head can be rotated almost 180 degrees.
