What are the leopards breeding habits?

Breeding takes place throughout the year. After a gestation period of 106 days, between one and six cubs (in the Kruger Park usually two), weighing about 600 g each, are born in dense cover or hollows in trees.

Birth intervals are 17 months. Cubs are born blind and their eyes open after six to 10 days. They remain hidden in dense vegetation for about six weeks, after which time they start taking solid food. They are frequently moved to new hiding spots.
